  • 1 tablespoon of sugar
  • 1 Excelsior coffee
  • 2 cl of Excelsior coffee liqueur
  • 3 cl of vodka
  • 1 clove
  • 1 pinch of dried ginger


Glass: Shot glasses or small bowls

Equipment: moka pot, shaker, whisk, bowl

Add a clove and ginger to the ground coffee in the filter of the moka pot. Shake this coffee with the other ingredients. Serve it in shot glasses or small bowls.
Hot version: beat an egg yolk with caster sugar and put a tablespoon of this cream on the bottom of the bowl. Mix coffee and vodka (set aside the coffee liqueur for now), if necessary heat it and add it in near the edge of the bowl. The egg cream rises to the top and keeps the drink hot and fragrant to the last drop.
